35 hours in counting

Day 1:

Local making a statement by painting the city of Reykjavik with this symbol.

Just one of many amazing and unique graffiti while walking down the street in Reykjavik, Iceland.
After the long 14 hours of traveling, we finally touched ground at Keflavik airport. But even though we had not slept for 14 hours, the day was just beginning as soon as we landed. Once we got our bags we headed for a nice breakfast at a local hotel/café. Then it was back on the bus for a nice cruise to the Blue Lagoon, where we could relax in the nice warm waters after all that time we spent walking through security and boarding planes. After everyone got nice and refreshed with the facial muds and slushies, we headed to our hostel located in Reykjavik to unload. As soon as we unloaded our bags it was back on the road to walk along a bikers path that leads to where we ate lunch/dinner at Hornid Pizzeria. Finally we got time to roam around the city and take pictures before we headed back to the Hostel. Then we had a one hour orientation to introduce and get to know everyone on the trip that is with us. And now I am writing this and now it has been 35 hours since i last got some sleep. So goodnight and lets hope I get some sleep even though the sun has not even gotten half way down and it is 9:42 PM.
